"None of us are as smart as all of us."
Some real wise guy said that ... or something like that ... or maybe I just made it up .. I'm not sure. But the point is, we can all benefit from the experiences of others.
I wanted to develop some way all CTENers could network and exchange ideas and info - learn from one another and network for more effective ministry. I think we have found a solution in Facebook.
I have formed a "Facebook group". By joining, you can communicate with other CTENers from around the world, exchange info, ideas, encouragement, pictures, videos, whatever. We already have a few brave souls who have joined the group. Check it out and see if you could benefit and, perhaps more importantly, be of benefit to others. Surely you have learned some things that some of the CTEN "newbies" could benefit from.

Look for the "Commission To Every Nation" Group.
There is a possibility this link will take you right to a place you can sign up for the group:

Is it pretty obvious I am still learning my way around Facebook?
Yup, I'm the country bumpkin come to the big city and I'm lost as a goose but if I click here and there and take a few moments to actually read the directions, eventually something makes sense.
Hope to see your face on the CTEN facebook Group.

Rick, you need to promote the Facebook group! The latest email mentioned that you're in the process of doing a myspace page, but nothing about Facebook. There are a ton of CTENers (and wannabes) on Facebook, so I know people will jump in.
Thanks for the encouragement. The CTEN Facebook group is new - only a couple of weeks - and many have joined already. Not much input - which is what will make it of value - but there is lots of interest in joining. It is not something I am good at keeping up with but I'm trying to get it into my schedule to keep posting info about anything happening in the mission that everyone would be interested in.
Thanks for letting me know it is appreciated. That's what makes me keep working at it - knowing it is helping.
Blessing to you all, Cusco and Peru.
PS - we have a Peruvian couple who attend our church in Corpus Christi and just this last week a Dr intern started attending who is from Peru.
