January 2009 Prayer Calendar

1 - Chuck & Dawn Newell - Pray for their preparations to begin working with Hindus in Trinidad.
2 - Larry & Sonya Marhenke - Prayer for continued progress in the translation work of the New Testament, and for good health.
3 - Nancy & Wiesiek Stebnicki - Ministers to families and men in Poland. Pray for the construction of their ministry house.
4 - Raymond & Kathryn Hain - Ministry to Arab speaking Christians in Middle East. Praise for additional staff in bookstore and pray for their safety.
5 - Meena Rai - Meena is new to CTEN. She is a Nepalese national who works with the local church. Pray for open doors.
6 - Phil Tilden - CTEN Ambassador who promotes the work of the mission. Praise for his strength and health to continue serving.
7 - Justin & April Spoonamore - Pray for ease in settling in their new home in Ecuador. Pray for great relationship building, language and cultural adjustments.
8 - Jack & Carol Lavallee - They are Canadian citizens leading a successful prison ministry in the US. Pray for the funds to build a ministry facility.
9 - Bill & Heidy Urbina - Pray for a great school year teaching in Guatemala and good family time.
10 - Klasien Vaalburg - Klasien is a seasoned missionary new to CTEN. She will return to Suriname to work with the Indians she was with 20 years ago.
11 - Richard & Anya Vandiver - They currently serve in New Hampshire, where they work with Ukrainian immigrants, pray for continued success in Anya's citizenship quest.
12 - Carroll Bishop - Pray for strength and wisdom as she oversees the running of "Shadow of His Wings" home for girls in Guatemala. Pray for safety.
13 - Jennifer Burleson - Pray for continuing improvement of Spanish. Pray for an increase in her support and a roommate.
14 - David & Julia Sutton - Pray for a broader support team so Julia won't have to spend time away from family. Pray also for the construction to finish their mission house in Jalap, Guatemala.
15 - Steve & Cathleen Tripp - Steve & Cathleen are new to CTEN and will be serving in the Middle East as an Associate Pastor. Pray for good assimilation.
16 - John & Peggy Setnan - Leads efforts in Texas communities to reach the unreached. Prayer for John's eyesight to improve.
17 - Matthew & Cindy Wright - Serving a local church and on staff with an ecclesiastical ministry in Albania. Pray for their support base to broaden to help with the cost of living.
18 - Global Frontier Missions Interns - Pray that they would be sensitive to what God is showing them about missions & how to begin putting it into practice with the local indigenous people.
19 - Sherry & Javier Alvarez - Pray that Sherry and her students in Guatemala build a strong foundation for learning & for grace to handle additional duties at her school, CAG.
20 - Ray & Janice Cendana - Ray & Janice will serve in the Philippines. Pray for them as they are new to CTEN and new to the mission field.
21 - Josh & Leigh Sevick - Praise to God for the sale of their home, pray for a swift closing so they can move to Guatemala and begin their ministry early in 2009.
22 - Ernest & Lisa Ehabe - Just relocated to Cameroon, Africa so pray that he and his family settle in and adjust well. Pray for the funds to purchase the ministry land for Bread for Life.
23 - Tasha Imel - Tasha is a part of the church planting team in Tlaxiaco, Mexico. Pray for an increase in her support.
24 - Edgar & Laura Cojon - Pray for a great year teaching in Guatemala. Prayer for Edgar, her husband, as he continues his seminary studies.
25 - Jordan Underwood - Jordan is new to CTEN. He is graduating soon from college and will teach in Guatemala in Sept. of this year. Pray for solid support raising.
26 - Brian & Gloria Burns - After moving to the Philippines, pray for them as they settle into their new home. Pray for their language acquisition.
27 - Caroline Coil - She lives and works in Guatemala. Pray for more supporters and a roommate to share expenses. Praise God for new churches opening.
28 - George & Jeri McClure - They run a Bible Training Center for Mexican Youth in Baja, Mexico. Pray for good connections.
29 - Derrick & Jackie Meier - Recent grads of Missionary Training School in Mexico. Beginning their first year as church planters with Global Frontier Missions.
30 - Steve Mashni - A seasoned missionary working in the Muslim community in Sweden. Pray for effective fellowship and safety.
31 - Janet Moutray - Praise for a new home and prayer center in Guatemala.
